Effluent Management Made Easy

Key Advantages of the Larall System
  • Extremely low labour content required to operate system and move sprinklers,
as low as an hour per month
    .
  • System makes it easy to comply with regional council regulations
  • Existing systems can be easily converted to Larall ™ systems
  • Unique self-cleaning screen prevents nozzle blockages
  • Minimal costs on repairs and maintenance
  • Ability to utilise deficit irrigation to avoid ground saturation

Application Rates and Areas
  • Extremely low application rates average of 3.6mm per hour
  • Low applications increase nutrient uptake through reduced leaching and runoff
  • 10,000m2 to 25,000m2 (1ha to 2.5ha) irrigated at any one time
  • Management plan eliminates the risk of effluent ponding
  • Ability to control nutrients applications at rates which suit the farming system

Sprinklers

  • Each sprinkler covers approximately 1000m2
  • 10 to 25 sprinklers operating at one time depending on requirements
  • Nozzle sizes 6 & 7mm
  • Easily shifted within each paddock on foot or on motorbikes
  • Each sprinkler accounts for approximately 0.65ha of effluent block
  • Any combination of 3 or 4 paddocks within the effluent block can be irrigated at one time

Pumping
  • 36m3 to 90m3 of effluent pumped per hour depending on the number of sprinklers operating and the farmer requirements
  • High volumes of effluent pumped in a short period resulting in approximately 1/3 of pumping time required for conventional systems
  • Can be operated with electric or PTO driven pumps
  • PTO pumps become an economic option
